What Is Neuroinflammation
Neuroinflammation is a new burgeoning field of immunologic inflammation having effect on the brain and the nervous system. Long Covid-19 symptoms include brain fog up to three months after having had the infection. Patients are also getting some brain fog from the vaccine along with similar symptoms from other nonspecific diseases. Long-term symptoms from Lyme disease and fibromyalgia include also the inability to concentrate. Patients have a similar fog with hypothyroidism, which is flaring. Hashimotoβs thyroiditis has an autoimmune attack and can lead to extreme fatigue.
Now some research suggests that neuroinflammation has been implicated in some of my patientsβ inabilaity to concentrate with post infectious complications from parvovirus. At last, some research was published by Neurology hat indicated that Alzheimerβs disease may be correlated with shingles or herpes zoster and herpes simplex chronic flare. There is some suggestion that vaccines against shingles, diphtheria and tetanus may slow the progress of Alzheimerβs.
