The UK's Daily Mail has an interesting article about the reality of airplane travel and tricks to beat ailments associated with it. While the article mostly focuses generally on ailments and how to avoid complications it does mention sinus infections specifically and some points they make about airplane's are worth sharing.As they point out in the article airplane air is not as bad as some may perceive. They state that the air Γ in the airplane is in fact cycled at a much more regular rate than the typical office and is filtered through very high quality filters. Even with that some might come onto the plane with existing conditions that can make airplane travel a nightmare.Sinus infections, particularly with children, can make airplane travel difficult because it interferes with your body's ability to normalize pressure in the sinuses. This can cause pain and is often the reason small children cry during take off and landing. Being aware of your health before taking a trip is important. If possible, avoiding any travel while you have a sinus infection is ideal.
